Fall Kids Yoga (ages 7 - 10 years)
Kids yoga is a fun class with songs, games and stories to help children develop mindful breathing, movement and relaxation techniques. In addition to physical benefits, yoga promotes moment-to-moment awareness, increased self-esteem, greater concentration and resilience. No experience is necessary. Class is taught by a certified yoga instructor, also trained in ChildLight Yoga. Classes run in 6-week sessions. Fall registration is open now. Fall session starts September 12th, Friday, 4:30 - 5:15pm.

Shannon brings to her yoga classes a lifetime of fitness and past teaching experience as a group exercise instructor, including certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. Shannon’s classes draw on years of knowledge gained from both Hatha and Vinyasa disciplines, and guarantee the student a powerful, inspired experience in mind, body, and spirit. Shannon firmly believes yoga is for everybody, and is on a mission to positively transform lives through her teaching. Look for fun, energetic, sweat- inducing classes offering a sense of playfulness and possibility. Shannon also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Washington State University, and contributes regularly to www.doyouyoga.com, as well as her own blog, www.curiousyogamonkey.com.

During these 40 Days of yoga, meditation, healthy eating and self-discovery you will find the truth within your heart. His timeless 12 Laws of Transformation are the tools you will use to guide you through your own personal revolution. This program is divided into six weeks. There is a theme to each week and each week builds on the next. A daily yoga practice at BRV YOGA, meditation practice, balanced diet and journaling will lead you on a path of self discovery. We will meet as a full group once a week during which we will share our experiences, meditate and do a short yoga practice. All levels welcome.
